LIS is an innovation laboratory for social impact businesses, which generates connections and encourages entrepreneurs and companies to co-create, test and validate projects and business models that positively impact people's lives.
With the mission of building projects from communities, FWK and Central Única das Favelas (CUFA) created LIS - Innovation and Social Impact Laboratory, whose objective is to enable businesses that have a positive impact on society.
"We want to help people in communities who have good ideas but don't know how to put them into practice," says Preto Zezé, global president of CUFA.
The idea of LIS is not to create social projects, but rather businesses from the communities, valuing the entrepreneurship that already exists there.
To this end, the laboratory offers strategies and tools for the development of local entrepreneurs, through a journey that seeks the ideal business model to make each project viable.
